Foreign Fulbright Student Program

FOREIGN FULBRIGHT STUDENT PROGRAM

The Fulbright Program for Foreign Students is administered by binational Fulbright Commissions/Foundations or U.S. Embassies. All Foreign Student Program applications are processed by these offices.

Outside the U.S., the Fulbright Program is administered by binational Fulbright Commissions/Foundations or U.S. Embassies. All Foreign Student Program applications are processed by these offices. Therefore, foreign students must apply for Fulbright Fellowships through the Fulbright Commission/Foundation or U.S. Embassy in their home countries. Program eligibility and selection procedures are determined by each country.

The Institute of International Education (IIE) arranges academic placement for most Fulbright nominees and supervises participants during their stay in the United States.
